Possible stye

A small tender lump on the eyelid edge, without deep eye pain or vision change.

Apply a clean, warm compress to the closed eye for 5–10 minutes, 3–4 times a day. Do not squeeze the lump. Avoid eye makeup and contact lenses until it settles. Most styes resolve within a week or two.
